The Lexus Great British Bike Ride this year is being staged from Lands End to Twickenham Stadium 1st – 4th September. The four day ride is designed for all cycling enthusiasts, sportsmen and women who want to take on a real challenge and at the same time raise some much appreciated funds for highly deserving charities, including ‘Help for Heroes’.
To celebrate hitting thirty, Lexus Coventry’s Steve Tapp wanted a challenge to remember and with Lexus Great British Bike Ride he found what he was looking for.
With the 4 day, 316 mile challenge, and the fact that he would be welcomed by 70,000 applauding rugby fans (Twickenham Stadium) and of course with this being a great opportunity to raise as much cash as possible for Help the Heroes along the way, Steve decided to start training for the Lands End to London trek.
Steve explained “I’m not the sportiest person so daily training has been really tough, but I’m determined to complete this exciting challenge and mark my thirtieth in a really different way”.
Tim Huxley Centre Principal, Lexus Coventry said “I’m really proud of Steve, he has put in a lot of effort and hours of training. Everyone at Lexus Coventry and I wish him every success and look forward seeing him on his return”.
