Honda reveals the new look CR-V at the Paris motor show. The Swindon built CR-V has a completely new look, with a lower stance, new headlamps, front grille, fog lights, skid plate and bumper. The rear has new LED combination lamps, refreshed tailgate design and bumper.

The new look CR-V is set to be offered with a more powerful diesel engine, as well as being offered with a nine speed automatic transmission. The four-wheel drive CR-V will be equipped with the higher-powered 1.6-litre i-DTEC four-cylinder diesel engine from Honda’s Earth Dreams Technology series. This next-generation powertrain delivers outstanding performance and low CO2 emissions, with one of the best power-to-efficiency ratios on the market. This new engine replaces the previous 2.2 litre i-DTEC diesel in the CR-V

Honda HR-V Prototype

Honda revealed the HR-V prototype at the Paris motor show. Combining the versatility and stability of an SUV with a coupe like design, this is Honda’s new entry into Europe’s fast growing small SUV segment.

A unique feature of the HR-V prototype is the centre fuel tank location, positioned to give a spacious and adaptable cabin. The Honda HR-V will go on sale in the UK during the Summer of 2015, Leon Brannan, Head of Car said “The HR-V is a very welcome addition to our current model line up, it is a very popular and growing market segment that appeals to both retail and corporate customers.“ “The dealer network are very much looking forward to receiving the car in their showrooms and every UK dealer will be making the trip to Paris to see the car on show“.

Honda Jazz Prototype

Making its public debut at the Paris motor show was the new look Honda Jazz Prototype. This new look Jazz introduces a completely new body shell, a longer wheelbase and a 15mm longer body to give the Jazz a more spacious cabin.

The Jazz Prototype retains the centre fuel tank seen on the current model. Honda (UK) Leon Brannan, Head of Car commented “The Jazz is a hugely important car for Honda in the UK, and has been a runaway success since its original launch. It has an extremely loyal following, its reliability is legendary. The new Jazz with its sleek, modern design, refined and comfortable ride, will, we are confident, build even more loyal followers.”
