Listers smart is pleased to be in partnership with The Daisy Appeal, a local charity serving the people of East Yorkshire and Lincolnshire.

The Daisy Appeal was established in 2000 and over the years has raised millions of pounds to enhance medical research. Their next project involves raising £4.5 million so they can build radioactive tracers on site to enable them to continue their work.

In order to help The Daisy Appeal reach this target, Listers smart has supplied the charity with a smart fortwo passion 71hp to be won as a prize at the cost of £5 per ticket. The tickets are limited to 5000 which gives the buyer 1 in 5000 chance of winning a brand new car. Multiple tickets may be purchased. All proceeds go to The Daisy Appeal.

Tickets will be on sale from 6 March 2015 and will be available at your local Listers smart retailer.

Participation in this raffle costs £5.00 per raffle ticket. This raffle is open to residents of mainland Great Britain (this excludes Northern Ireland, Isle of Man and Channel Islands). No tickets can be sold to, on behalf of, or for a person under the age of 16 years. If a ticket is sold unknowingly to, on behalf of, or for a person under the age of 16 they will be refunded, exempt from the raffle and will forfeit their prize. All Trustees and Employees of The Hull & East Yorkshire Medical Research Centre and The Directors and Managers of Listers smart and Mercedes-Benz Hull and Lincoln are ineligible to enter this raffle. Monies raised by this raffle will support the general work of The Hull & East Yorkshire Medical Research Centre, also known as The Daisy Appeal Registered Charity No 1095652. Payment for participation in the raffle can be made by cash, or cheque payable to The Daisy Appeal. Raffle tickets will be entered into the draw when the whole payment is received. The Hull & East Yorkshire Medical Research Centre accepts no responsibility for raffle tickets which are lost, damaged, illegible or from which the prize-winner cannot be identified, or for any technical failure or event which may cause the competition to be disrupted or corrupted. Any ticket entries received after the closing date of 29th June 2015 will be considered as donations to The Daisy Appeal. One raffle ticket will be drawn randomly to determine the winner. The result of the raffle draw is final. No correspondence will be entered into. The winner will be notified by post, email or telephone no later than two weeks after the draw date. The name of the winner will also be published at www.daisyappeal.org within two weeks after the draw date. Please keep the ticket number as proof of purchase. Where The Hull & East Yorkshire Medical Research Centre is unable to contact a prize-winner so that the prize remains unclaimed for six months following The Hull & East Yorkshire Medical Research Centre first attempt to notify the prize-winner, may apply the prize as it (The Hull & East Yorkshire Medical Research Centre) sees fit, including by re-offering the prize in future raffles. The winner is required to co-operate with The Hull & East Yorkshire Medical Research Centre’s right to publish their win as and where deemed appropriate, and to provide proof of age when requested. The Hull and East Yorkshire Medical Research Centre hold a Small Society Lottery Registration issued by Hull City Council in accordance with the Gambling Act 2005 – Schedule 11 paragraph 54. In the event of an error, howsoever caused, whether a printing error or otherwise and whether obvious or otherwise, which affects the competition in any way, the organisers reserve the right to administer the raffle as though the error had not occurred. Where the organisers deem it appropriate and/or feasible The Hull & East Yorkshire Medical Research Centre will notify entrants of the error. The name of winner and results of the raffle will be available on the receipt of a request to The Hull & East Yorkshire Medical Research Centre, Daisy Building, Castle Hill Hospital, Castle Road, Cottingham, HU16 5JQ. Failure to comply with any of these rules may result in the disqualification of the entry. Organisers reserve the right to disqualify any entry at their absolute discretion. Complaints Any complaints regarding our raffles or lotteries can be made directly to The Hull & East Yorkshire Medical Research Centre by contacting us at Daisy Building, Castle Hill Hospital, Castle Road, Cottingham, HU16 5JQ. We will respond to initial complaints and queries within three working days of receipt of the complaint. If the complaint is not satisfactorily resolved, the matter will be escalated appropriately. Every complaint will be taken seriously and fully considered by The Hull & East Yorkshire Medical Research Centre in order that a satisfactory resolution can be achieved.
