SEAT present the Ateca X-Perience

At this years Paris Motor Show, SEAT are set to present the Ateca X-Perience. It is just a concept for now, but SEAT will use the event to gauge reaction before deciding whether to put it into production.

Despite only being as a concept, the amount of development time the car has had is obvious with no fewer than six drive modes including snow and off-road – as well as a complex Haldex four-wheel drive system and Hill Descent Control.

Other spec above the standard Ateca includes scratch resistant paint, bigger 18” alloys, running boards and chrome roof rails.

Under the bonnet SEAT, SEAT have put the most powerful 190PS 2.0 TDI engine with its proven 7 speed DSG gearbox..

SEAT Vice-president of R&D, Dr. Matthias Rabe, said:

“The X-Perience is an exercise to show the Ateca family’s possibilities and potential in the future. We know that with the Ateca, we can go much further and it will be on display at the Paris Motor Show.”

“With the Ateca X-Perience we can go beyond that which we already have in the series. It’s for the customer that wants to go further, taking it to the extreme, for weekend adventures, and of course, off-road.”
