Steve and Anita. 29th June 2012

Dear Mr Clarke

I wanted to thank you and all of your team for the work carried out on our car recently and especially the most courteous way that we were treated by everyone. This was a very worrying time for us thinking we faced a huge unexpected expense for a car that had done very little mileage in relation to its age.

Your staff in the first instance contacted Volkswagen direct to report that this was a part failure rather than wear and tear on the car, and several calls later resulted in a very satisfactory agreement in which we only paid a proportion of the cost.

I don’t think another garage would have looked after us so well under the circumstances, especially as the car was out of the warranty period.

I would also like to make a special thank you to Belinda who kept us informed along the way of what was happening and nothing was too much trouble for her. It does make all the difference when you have a reliable point of contact that goes the extra mile in helping a customer.

Again my thanks to all mechanical team that worked on the car and got it back to us in a relatively short time considering the work that had to be carried out.

The service we received from Gemma at Head Office was excellent and her help in negotiating the discount with Belinda was much appreciated.

We will continue to use your dealership for future servicing and we would not hesitate to purchase another VW Golf, as your excellent Customer Service has proved to us that you certainly know how to look after your customers.

Yours faithfully,

Steve and Anita
