Last Friday I took possession of my new Toyota Yaris Hybrid in Cobalt Blue. The sales executive who saw the whole process through with me from the initial phone call to me at 8:45p.m. one evening, to the wave goodbye in my new car last Friday evening, was Edward Goodland.
This is the third Yaris I have had on an HP agreement from Listers, but this last transaction was by far the most pleasing, and that was as a result of Mr Goodland and his professionalism.
I was impressed with his wealth of knowledge about Toyota, about the Yaris and the Hybrid. He has a gentle manner, putting his point across and imparting useful information without being at all patronising. Even when we signed and I went away to wait to pick up my new car, Edward kept in touch with me very helpfully, sending information regarding my phone and music streaming in the new Yaris. He did everything he said he would do, and more.
This experience was a contrast to my previous two, where although the personnel got the job done, they did not take the time needed, and I did feel I was being rushed through a process just so that another sale could be ticked off. I did not feel at all like that, on this occasion.
People do not often get recognition for doing a good job. I think Mr Goodland deserves some. You have a good sales executive in Mr Goodland. I appreciate all that he did for me.
