145 exacting checks to pass

All Audi vehicles benefit from superior build-quality and finish. We check the areas you can see as well as the ones you can't.

Before it makes the grade as an Approved Used Audi, every pre-owned Audi model must pass 145 thorough inspections. An Audi technician makes separate mechanical, interior and exterior checks, conducts a full road-test and prepares a detailed written report which is available for your assessment.

Reconditioning with Audi Original parts

Should the multi-point check highlight any irregularities, we will undertake rectification work, ensuring the car meets our meticulous standards before it reaches the forecourt. Most importantly, we only use Audi Original parts.

History and Mileage Checks

As part of the Approved Used Car Programme, you can rest assured that the Audi you buy will have a clean, completely transparent record. You'll receive a certificate confirming that the following provenance checks have been carried out and independently verified.

• The vehicle's engine and chassis number records
• The date of first registration is correct
• The vehicle is free from outstanding finance charges
• The vehicle has not been stolen
• The vehicle has not been written off
• Whether the vehicle has had a number plate change

We also independently check the vehicle’s mileage.

Service History

As another strand of our commitment to vehicle provenance, we will provide you with a service history certificate at the time of vehicle handover, detailing all routine servicing work that has been done by the Authorised Audi Centre network.

The certificate also verifies the following:

• Vehicle registration number
• Vehicle chassis number
• Vehicle description
• Colour
• Engine number
• The status of the vehicle's warranty

30 day exchange plan

All the checks and double-checks should give you real reassurance. And even further still, Audi operates a 30 day exchange policy - so in the unlikely event of an irreparable fault occurring within 30 days/1,000 miles (whichever occurs sooner) – we will offer you an exchange. This does not affect your statutory rights.

12 month warranty with roadside assistance

Also included as part of the programme is the backing of a 12 month Audi Warranty, which includes Audi Roadside Assistance to provide any necessary help at the roadside, with consequential expense cover for items such as car hire and hotel accommodation. What more could you ask for?

MOT Protection

This will protect you from potential costs incurred from a wide range of repairs up to the value of £750, should your Approved Used Audi fail its MOT

It is only applicable on the following:

• All vehicles between the ages of 2 and 7 years
• Vehicles must be under 100,000 miles
• All vehicles must have no less than 3 months before the MOT is due

Key Insurance

If the keys to your Approved Used Audi are lost or broken or there is a fault with the locks, we’ll cover the cost of replacements and fitting at your local Audi Centre.

Complimentary seven-day insurance

Every Approved Used Audi comes with seven days’ complimentary cover on request. Audi Insurance will send a cover note to your Audi Centre, enabling them to tax your car so you can enjoy driving your new Audi right away. After that, you can choose to take out annual insurance just by getting in touch with us. It’s quick and simple, and insurance can begin as soon as your free cover expires. Your Centre will give you the details you need to arrange your seven-day complimentary insurance.
