Land Rover unveiled the Discovery Sport at the Paris motor show in a dramatic and British fashion.
The two Discovery Sports put on a true show of capability taking on a range of challenges set out on an 80 metre barge.
Situated around the barge were seven pairs of brightly coloured Wellington boots, representing the family friendly nature of the Discovery Sport.
Accompanying the Land Rover Discovery Sport was Actress Rosie Huntington-Whiteley who played a starring role in the unveiling.
After the unveiling, the barge continued down the River Seine, cruising past the Eiffel Tower and Notre-Dame Cathedral.
To highlight the significance of the Discovery Sport, Land Rover will make it the only vehicle it displays on their stand when previewed to the media.
Gerry McGovern, Land Rover Design Director and Chief Creative Officer said.
“Designed and engineered to be the world’s most capable and versatile premium compact SUV, this is a vehicle that will appeal not only to existing Land Rover customers but to a whole new group of people who may never have considered Land Rover before. It is quite simply the most accomplished vehicle in its segment.”
