Based on the current RS Q3, the new performance model’s five-cylinder 2.5 TFSI engine has an extra 27PS, taking it to 367PS. Torque is up by 15Nm to 465Nm and the 0-62mph sprint is reduced to 4.4sec (from 4.8sec). Top speed is 167mph, compared with the RS Q3’s 155mph.
There’s additional standard equipment too. The RS Q3 performance gets new 20-inch ‘performance exclusive’ alloy wheels with a matt titanium finish, as well as cruise control, LED interior lighting and keyless entry & start.
Sports seats in Alcantara and leather with honeycomb stitching in blue are standard. The blue accents are also applied to elements such as the RS sport leather steering wheel, the selector lever gaiter, the centre armrest and the floor mats. Inlays with a blue thread woven into the carbon material continue the theme into the dashboard and door mouldings.
