Dear Mr Callow,
I called your service centre yesterday morning because my two-year old Polo would not start, although it was serviced only two weeks ago. As I live locally, you kindly agreed to send someone out to look at the problem.
There was no apparent reason why the battery should have run down in only three days since I used the car, but two charming VW representatives turned up, charged the battery and all is now in working order.
As it is not your usual practice to rescue aged customers in distress, I am particularly impressed that you did so on this occasion and I should like you and your two helpful colleagues to know how extremely grateful I am.
