I have a new Polo purchased from Listers, which is a new car which I love driving. In early August I was unlucky enough to have a chip in the windscreen, for which a well-known windscreen repair company came out to repair.

After several problems with the replacement glass, and contacting them on numerous occasions, I was left with a car that was less than 6 months old, with the wrong windscreen, incorrectly fitted and a scratched bonnet. After 2 weeks I contacted VW Insurance who were fantastic. They arranged for my car to come to you and be assessed and for arrangements to be made to put things right. I met with Phil and Ed, and the car was booked in for the new windscreen and time was put aside in the bodyshop in case repairs were needed to the bodywork.

The car came in and, no doubt through the skill of your technicians, they managed to get the old windscreen out and replace it with a genuine VW one without there being any damage to the car. The car was returned to me back to its original condition, putting right the mess that it had been left in.

During this process I dealt with Phil, Ed and Amy, all of whom were friendly, professional and what’s more showed genuine concern for the situation and for putting it right no matter what. Everything they said would happen did happen, booking, timescales, courtesy car etc. When the car was handed back to me they were keen to ensure I was 100% happy with it, and I was. The car had been cleaned inside and out and looked brand new again.

Phil, Ed and Amy are a credit to Listers and I am very grateful for all the hard work they have put in to put things right with my car.
