smart approved used status guarantees extra value for you. As an approved used smart, your vehicle will be presented to the highest standard and come with the following list of complimentary assurances, checks and services:

• Roadside assistance

  All approved used smarts are covered for a minimum of 12 months roadside assistance that ensures you are back on the road with the minimum of inconvenience, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

• Guaranteed no servicing for 3 months/3,000 miles

  All approved used smarts will not require routine servicing at your expense for a minimum of 1,500 miles or 3 months from the date of sale (whichever comes sooner).

• 12 months unlimited mileage warranty

  smart approved used vehicles, regardless of age, will benefit from our comprehensive 12 months unlimited mileage warranty, providing the vehicle has covered less than 100,000 miles at the date of purchase.

  This warranty will either be the balance of the original warranty that covered the car from its first registration, a stand alone used vehicle warranty or a combination of the two.

  With unlimited mileage cover and no individual claim limits, this is one of the most comprehensive used vehicle warranties available.

• A thorough multi-point check

  Every approved used smart from smart of Lincoln will undergo a multi-point check of all factory fitted equipment by a trained smart technician to ensure it is in perfect working order. A road test will be undertaken and you will receive a copy of the technician’s worksheet.

• Mileage check

  We will carry out an independent check on this vehicle’s mileage record to ensure that it is correct and then give you a certificate to confirm this.

• Vehicle history check

  To guarantee your complete peace of mind we will check to ensure this smart isn't registered as a stolen vehicle or an insurance write-off and that the chassis and registration numbers are the same as those recorded by the DVLA.

• Finance checks

  To ensure there is no outstanding finance on your vehicle we will carry out a number of checks.

• MOT test failure cover

  Every approved used smart comes with MOT test failure cover. This benefit covers the owner against the cost of repairing, replacing or altering covered parts (up to the purchase price of your smart) that are cited as being the reason for the failure of the MOT Test on the VT30 Certificate.

• Additional benefits

  smart will pay up to £50 per day including VAT towards the cost of a replacement vehicle if your vehicle is being repaired under the smart approved used warranty programme.

  The smart approved used warranty is valid for up to 60 days per annum for driving in the Republic of Ireland and mainland Europe.

  smart will pay up to £100 towards overnight accommodation should your vehicle break down and you are unable to return home.
