Volkswagen has opened pre-sales for its ID.7 all-electric saloon, with a range of up to 621 kilometres at a price of £48,839. With innovative technology, the ID.7 arrives with the augmented reality head-up display and the “Discover Pro Max” navigation system, as standard.

ID.7 with generous space concept and long ranges
The Volkswagen ID.7 demonstrates the benefits and versatility of its modular electric drive (MEB) platform. The electric saloon has a spacious large luggage compartment of 532 litres, and large interior thanks to short overhangs and a long wheelbase. The compact drive unit located in the rear of the vehicle delivers 210 kW (286 PS) and 545 Nm. With a turning circle of just 10.9 metres and an average fuel consumption of 16.3 – 14.1 kWh per 100 kilometres, the saloon is agile and efficient.
New operating concept with intelligent air conditioning system and voice assistant
The first vehicle to feature intelligent electronic air vents, to distribute air across the interior, allowing easy and quick cooling or heating. Now the panoramic sun roof is operated by touch or voice control to change between opaque or transparent glass. Volkswagen also included many other customer requests such as a new menu structure in the infotainment system.

The ID.7 is also equipped with:

- “Side Assist”, Rear Traffic Alert and exit warning system
- “Area View” including “rear view” camera system
The ID.7 is also easy to configure:
- Interior package includes features like the electric ergoActive comfort seats with memory and massage functions, easy entry function, adjustable support on thighs, and more,
- The Interior package “Plus” includes further airbags and the Harman Kardon sound system with twelve loudspeakers as well as a centre speaker, 700-watt power, a digital 16-channel amplifier and a subwoofer.
- The optional Exterior package includes LED matrix headlights, tinted windows at the rear, and the Easy Open & Close sensory-controlled luggage compartment.
- The Exterior package “Plus” now includes progressive steering and DCC adaptive chassis control with driving profile section
