As Porsche introduces two new SUVs to the line-up, the Porsche Cayenne GTS and Cayenne GTS Coupé.
Not only do the new models come with a host of exclusive features as standard, but the SUVs also aim to balance luxury and comfort with the agility and spontaneity of a true sports car.
This sporty SUV duo is set to arrive in showrooms in July 2020.
Utilising the best quality materials to create a sporty, yet elegant feel to the Cayenne GTS, the centre console armrests and doors, seat centre panels and rooflining, as well as dark-brushed aluminium, gives the feeling of supreme sporting luxury for Cayenne drivers. Not only that, but owners can enjoy as standard, the exclusive eight-way sports seats – reserved only for GTS models.
Other features included as standard is the Sports Design package. This includes LED headlights with Porsche Dynamic Light System and a dark-tinted LED tail light bar, as well as satin-gloss black 21-inch RS Spyder Design wheels. The sports exhaust system, side window trims and front are all in black and finishes off the unique and exclusive appearance afforded to the Cayenne GTS and Cayenne GTS Coupé .
You could also make your car entirely your own by adding a variety of different finishing touches available. For example, the addition of Carmind Red or Crayon coloured stitching for that extra sporty look.
The new GTS package does not skip on performance. With this in mind the Cayenne has re-introduced its V8 engine and four-litre biturbo engine, giving the GTS models the ability to go from 0-100 km/h in 4.5 seconds and reach a top speed of 270 km/h when combined with the Sport Chrono package. In fact, the top speed has been increased by eight km/h – no mean feat.
That being said, the new models do not compromise on efficiency. By combining an intelligent thermal management system, adaptive cylinder control and eight-speed automatic transmission among other things, fuel consumption equates to 11.4 to 11.2 I/100 km according to the NEDC combined cycle.
To compliment this re-introduction of power, the cars lowered suspension (by 20mm in fact), its new exhaust system displayed at the outer sides of the car’s rear and its sporty dampener control is designed to look and sound as good as it performs. Another exclusive addition to the Cayenne GTS is its centrally positioned tailpipes, again accentuating a sporty feel. All of which, come as standard.
