Volkswagen has announced the release of its All New T-Cross model, the ‘First Edition’. The First Edition comes in pure white, with rear tinted windows and exclusive 18” Adamantium alloy wheels. There will only be 250 cars made in this specification, with sales starting from early February.
Exterior design
From its contemporary styling to its distinctive rear with striking reflective strips and LED tail light clusters, the T-Cross First edition is guaranteed to make a lasting impression. The sweeping rear LED lights have a singular signature style and the front LEDs come with High Beam Assist to make nocturnal driving less stressful. The First Edition also features the exclusive 18” Funchal wheels in Adamantine Silver which complement its sporty side-profile.
Technology
The all-new T-Cross First Edition comes with a variety of technology to make driving easier and keep you safe on the roads. From speeds above 37 mph, the Lane Assist lane departure warning can detect whether the vehicle has inadvertently departed from the marked lane, and initiates a corrective steering intervention. Blind Spot Sensor technology also comes ready in the First Edition, and uses LEDs in the exterior mirror to warn you about vehicles in your blind spot. The Rear Traffic Alert also comes as standard, and monitors the area behind your vehicle, warning you of any traffic crossing your path whilst reversing.
ACC Adaptive Cruise Control is another impressive feature to the First Edition T-Cross. It helps to avoid accidents by always keeping your car at a safe distance from the traffic ahead. This works especially well in slow traffic as your vehicle will speed up and slow down as necessary.
Interior space
Freedom and roominess are at the heart of the T-Cross First Edition interior. A raised seating position offers a wonderful sense of space and visibility is very impressive. The black and grey decorative trim on the interior makes for a stylish look and features such as adaptive rear seating mean the rear bench seating can be adjusted to provide extra legroom for your passengers or more space to transport larger items.
Background lighting also creates an expressive atmosphere inside your T-Cross First Edition, with subtle accents illuminating the interior.
The Volkswagen T-Cross First Edition costs £23,150 and is available to order from February.
