Toyota have announced that they are going to be unveiling two new special editions of the AYGO model line-up at the 2019 Geneva motor show in March. The x-style and x-cite will make their world debuts and be available to view throughout this year’s Geneva expo.
With the second generation AYGO, its iconic frontal ‘X’ signature has matured from a two-dimensional graphic into a more powerful, three-dimensional architectural element. The distinctive frontal design now features Daytime Running Lights and Keen Look headlamp clusters to reinforce the models striking looks at first sight.
At the rear, the LED light guides make the AYGO instantly recognisable and emphasise the vehicle’s rear width and stability. Inside, the AYGO offers a variety of trim and light colours to upgrade the overall ambiance and continue the fun, vibrant nature of the car in every aspect.
The new x-style and x-cite models are the latest in an ongoing series of special edition AYGO versions. The two unique models offer a carefully considered combination of exterior and interior options to let customer stand out from the crowd.
AYGO x-style
The AYGO x-style exterior is finished in White, with a large, Orange Twist power-operated canvas top with a generous 785 mm x 730 mm opening, and Orange Twist colour accents to the front, rear, sides and door mirrors. It further features rear privacy glass, fog lamps, and Black machined 10-spoke 15” alloy wheels. The interior benefits from a Piano Black finish to the centre console, and Orange Twist side register air vent and gearshift surrounds. Also equipped is partial leather seat upholstery and Orange border floor mats.
AYGO x-cite
The AYGO x-cite has a bi-tone finish of Pure Orange with a Black roof, complimented by a Pure Orange front spoiler insert and Black door mirrors. Like the x-style, the exterior treatment is completed by the addition of rear privacy glass, fog lamps, and glossy Black 10-Spoke 15” alloy wheels. The interior showcases a gloss Black finish to the centre console, with a chrome gearshift surround and Pure Orange side register air vent. Also equipped are floor mats with a Pure Orange border and Manhattan fabric seat upholstery.
