The team enters their ninth World Endurance Championship season.
The crews have already begun their intense training programme ahead of the start of the season. This is so the team has the chance to adapt to the new car, as well as any new regulations being put in place.
Toyota has the advantage of having the same they did last season including, Mike Conway, Kamui Kobayashi, Jose Maris Lopez, Sebastien Buemi, Kazuki Nakajima and Brendon Hartley. That being said, changes in the regulations is set to make the competition tighter than the team may have expected.
A cost-reduction initiative along with race-by-race balance performance means that the cars will be slower than previous years, with all Hypercars having a more equal footing when racing.
The season is set to start on 19th March with the 1,000 mile Sebring race, followed by Spa-Francorchamps on 1st May, the highlight of the season - Le Mans between 12-13th June.
