Land Rover's All-New Defender V8

The Defender V8 provides new and improved performance and driver engagement, with a powerful 525HP 5.0-litre V8 supercharged petrol engine. The model also features impressive suspension and transmission tuning. This is without a doubt the fastest and most dynamic Defender to date.

The new and exclusive Carpathian Edition builds on the Defender V8, with an ultimate expression of design, performance, and capability. Personalisation for the Defender has expanded with new exterior packs. The Bright Pack, Extended Bright Pack and Extended Black Pack.

There is a bespoke exterior trim featured, along with heightened connectivity. The touchscreen infotainment system, the Pivi Pro, has new features such as a larger touchscreen display and an integrated signal booster when fitted in conjunction with the Comfort and Convenience Pack.

The Defender impresses on performance, accelerating from 0-60mph in just 4.9 seconds with a top speed of 149mph. The off-road capability of the Defender is a hallmark to the vehicle, yet the new V8 enhances that driver appeal and now comes with a Dynamic mode. The Dynamic mode helps drivers to exploit the vehicles abilities even further on both tarmac and loose surfaces.

There are three colours for customers to choose for the Defender V8, Carpathian Grey, Yulong White and Santorini Black. The Defender V8 is visually stunning, with Ebony Windsor Leather interior, tactile satin chrome gearshift paddles with leather covering the airbag housing and gear level. The Carpathian Edition comes exclusively in Carpathian Grey, with a Satin Protective Film on the exterior. The model has a contemporary semi-matte finish, and the film provides protection against car park scratches and off-road bramble rash.

There is an XS Edition to the model which is available with a choice of efficient powertrains, including the P400 MHEV petrol, P400e Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV) and D250 Mild Hybrid Electric Vehicle (MHEV) diesel. The XS Edition has comprehensive standard specifications that include Electronic Air Suspension, Adaptive Dynamics and Configurable Terrain Response. Furthermore, it has ClearSight interior Rear View camera technology and the state-of-the-art Pivi Pro infotainment.
