Taking part in 85 races last year, the Toyota Supra GT4 achieved 26 class podiums and 12 class wins. There are further experienced teams joining the GR Supra GT4 roster in 2021, excitement and success is expected in more than 10 championships.
The Managing Director at Toyota Gazoo Racing Europe, Rob Leupen has said: “After a good start with five European cars in 2020, the GR Supra GT4 will become a global player in GT4 racing this year”.
The competition remains true to its origins, with all Toyota Gazoo Racing Europe customer cars being eligible to take part. Therefore, teams competing with the GR Supra GT4 or the GT86 race and rally cars, can benefit from discounts on spare parts.
People can expect to see the GR Supra GT4 in various other championships across the globe this year, including the FEL Sports Car Championship in Canada, the Super Taikyu Series in Japan and championships in Italy.
