Volkswagen recently upgraded their award-winning Caddy, launching the fifth-generation Caddy Cargo. The updated model includes some unmissable features, including the all-new infotainment system and We Connect.
The Caddy 5 cab has seen some significant enhancements to the interior technology, including a new ergonomic dashboard. The dashboard contains the latest-generation MIB infotainment system, with large central screens allowing the driver to control vehicle settings and other features, like air-conditioning.
Both the Caddy Commerce and Caddy Commerce Plus also feature the Composition Audio radio system, which is comprised of a 6.5-inch colour touch-screen display and up to four speakers, with a Bluetooth mobile phone interface, DAB+ radio and an integrated USB-C port.
The Caddy Commerce Pro introduces the remarkable Discover Media navigation system, consisting of a 10-inch colour touch-screen display and the latest Sat Nav mapping technology, with optional voice control.
The Discover Media navigation system can be upgraded to the Discover Media Pro navigation system, which includes voice control, wireless App-Connect, access to the internet and streaming services, in addition to the original Discover Media functions. The display of this system can be altered depending on what the driver would like to see, like a navigation map, fuel data or phone contacts.
The Caddy 5 will also feature Volkswagen’s We Connect; the first Caddy to host these services. We Connect Basic is installed on all Caddy 5 vehicles spanning their lifetime, though the Caddy Commerce Pro and other trim levels with access to the Discover Media navigation system will have We Connect Plus for the first three years. We Connect Plus offers additional features, like enhanced live traffic information and area monitoring, making sure you can always locate your vehicle and get to your next job safely and efficiently.
