The Mercedes-Benz CLS receives a new sportier look.

Exterior

The Mercedes-Benz CLS is available with the AVANTGARDE Exterior or AMG Line Exterior, although both models will receive a new radiator grille, which features the Mercedes-Benz pattern, a louvre in high-gloss black with chrome inlay and the integrated Mercedes star. A spectral blue metallic paint colour is also available for the CLS.

The entry-level model has the AVANTGARDE Exterior as standard, with striking air intakes and a front splitter in silver chrome. The vehicle has a black diffuser-look insert and a silver-chrome trim strip on the rear apron. The entry-level model has two new designs for the 19-inch light-alloy wheels, a 5-twin-spoke or multi-spoke rims.

For the CLS AMG Line Exterior, the model will come with distinctive air intakes with vertical bars and aerodynamically shaped flics in high-gloss black. To enhance the design further, it will feature an AMG sill trim on the side and AMG spoiler lip on the boot of the vehicle. This version comes with two new colours for the 20-inch, high-gloss AMG multi-spoke light alloy wheels, tremolite grey or high-gloss black.

Interior and features

To compliment the new and distinctive exterior, the interior has been enhanced also. The centre console in the CLS has two new trim finishes, available in open-pore brown walnut and high-gloss grey wood. The leather seats inside have also been given two new colour options, the neva grey/magma grey and the sienna brown/black. You will find redesigned paddle shifters in silver chrome alongside a multifunctional steering wheel, now in nappa leather.

As an optional extra, the Driving Assistance Package is available for customers to benefit from a highly intuitive and impressive steering wheel. The steering wheel is capable of detecting the driver’s hands and sensors can register whether the driver’s hands are on the wheel. This feature is added in order to enhance user-friendliness when driving in semi-automated mode.
