Škoda OCTAVIA to receive a SportLine model

Introduction of the OCTAVIA SportLine model.

Škoda has announced there will be a SportLine trim-level on the fourth-generation OCTAVIA added to the range. Arriving in the UK towards the end of the year and is set to deliver an enhanced dynamic look.

Positioned somewhere between the regular model and the top-of-the-range RS model, the variant impresses with a distinctive front spoiler, with the Škoda grille, rear diffuser and Škoda lettings on the tailgate coming in gloss black. The new model will include 18-inch alloy wheels as standard.

In terms of technicalities, the Škoda OCTAVIA SportLine will be available with virtually all engines in the OCTAVIA range. This include the 2.0 TDI engine offering 115hp, 150hp and 200hp. There is also the 1.5-litre eTSI mild-hybrid and a 190hp 2.0 TSI, as well as a 204hp plug-in alternative besides the 1.5-litre TGI CNG version too.

The Škoda SportLine model features black exterior detailing, sports seats with integrated headrests and complimented with a three-spoke multifunction sports steering wheel.

The latest model will be offered in either front-wheel or all-wheel drive and have additional options such as a proactive occupant protection system, Collision Avoidance Assist and a new central airbag between the front seats. Inside the OCTAVIA SportLine, customers will find a fabric finish around the instrument panel and Piano Black decorative strips.

There will be a Dynamic Chassis Control (DCC) and numerous assistance systems available with the latest OCTAVIA model. With a striking design, complimented with a sporty interior this model will be a must have for many.
