CUPRA Born is the first all-electric vehicle from the brand, delivering electrifying performance with a sporty design. CUPRA Born offers an instant acceleration from 0-31mph in only 2.9 seconds. The Dynamic Chassis Control Sport (DDC Sport) automatically adapts to any conditions. Head-up Display with Augmented Reality is another key feature for Born drivers, which projects crucial driving information onto the windscreen, and appears layered over the real world (not available on entry trim). The CUPRA Born will be able to travel 540km on a singular charge due to its 77kWh battery. The car should be able to travel at least 260km in 30 minutes. Fast recharging is possible, with 62 miles of range delivered in as little as seven minutes.

The interior includes sportive bucket seats is manufactured from SEAQUAL® Yarn, made from upcycled marine plastics. Marine litter from beaches, the ocean floor and surface, or entering oceans from rivers and estuaries, is collected by a clean-up programme and sorted into different material types. Further features include a steering wheel with Drive Profile Selection and CUPRA mode buttons (including satellite buttons on ‘e-Boost’. CUPRA focused on sustainability when designed Born, using recycled materials within – a net CO2 neutral concept. Energy from renewable sources is used in the supply chain and the remaining emissions are offset by environmental and project investments. The new CUPRA Born will be manufactured at the Zwickau plant in Germany.

The CUPRA Born will be launched alongside the unveiling of the Primavera Sound Barcelona 2022 line up, a joint collaboration from Barcelona.
