The MINI John Cooper Works specification grade is available for the new MINI 3-door Hatch, new MINI Convertible, MINI Clubman and MINI Countryman. John Cooper Works embodies classic MINI driving characteristics in a particularly sporty form, focusing on performance.

The new MINI John Cooper Works 3-door Hatch and Convertible both have a 2.0-litre four-cylinder engine with MINI Twin Power Turbo technology, with a maximum output of 231 hp. The MINI John Cooper Works Convertible accelerates to 62 mph in 6.6 seconds and the 3-door Hatch in 6.3 seconds. A sports brake system developed with Brembo, a specialist manufacturer, is part of the standard equipment as well as the 17-inch John Cooper Works light-alloy wheels.

The MINI John Cooper Works Clubman accelerates to 62 mph in 6.3 seconds, with a top speed of 155 mph. Thanks to all-wheel drive, the MINI John Cooper Works Countryman accelerates to 62 mph in an impressive 5.1 seconds, with the same 155 mph top speed.

All John Cooper Works models can easily be tailored with trims and equipment packages. The John Cooper Works trim is available as an alternative to the standard specification. Exterior paint finishes include: Chilli Red, Rebel Green, Rooftop Grey metallic and Island Blue metallic.

Lane Departure Warning system which includes the Driving Assistant is now included in all MINI John Cooper Works models. This includes Active Cruise Control and a Stop & Go function, which can be used alongside the 8-speed Steptronic Sport transmission.
