Interior
The interior of the new BMW X3 has a 10.25-inch infotainment touchscreen with a control panel. While the X4 has a twin 12.3-inch display screen, which is an optional extra in the X3. Further features included navigation, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto connectivity, and active blind-spot detection.
Both models have been modernised with sport seats with SensaTec upholstery, available with a black, beige, cognac, or red interior with optional leather seats in black, oyster, or mocha. Also, automatic air conditioning with three-zone control comes as standard – separating temperature settings for the driver, passenger, and the rear passengers. The load volume of the new BMW X3 is 550 litres but can be increased to 1,600 litres with the rear seats down. The new BMW X4 holds 525 litres, with a maximum of 1,430 litres.
The BMW X4 includes a panoramic sunroof, M Sport suspension, and BMW’s Cockpit Professional. BMW’s Premium package contains a heated steering wheel, heated front, and rear seats, heads-up display, panoramic sunroof, and gesture control are available to all the X3 and X4 models.
