The plug-in hybrid and electric range from Audi

Enjoy the excitement and pleasure of driving an Audi, whilst being more sustainable to the planet with our plug-in hybrid and electric range.

What is a plug-in hybrid?

Audi has a growing range of plug-in models, which use both a combustion engine and electric motor, which can be charged. The main benefit of a plug-in hybrid is that it offers the economy of an electric motor, with the performance of an Audi combustion engine.

What is an e-tron?

An e-tron is Audi's range of fully electric vehicles. Fully electric vehicles simply offer the driver a C02-free drive, with a fully re-chargeable battery. Audi prides themselves on giving drivers signature Audi performance, with zero emissions.

So why EV?

As the movement to create a more sustainable planet, plug-in hybrid and fully electric vehicles are growing in their popularity. Not only because they offer cleaner driving, but because they bring a host of other benefits that you may not be aware of.

The main benefits include less frequent servicing and cheaper running costs overall. This is mainly because charging electric is around two-thirds cheaper than petrol or diesel. For Audi in particular, advances in technology have been implemented into electric and plug-in hybrid ranges.

Here's Joe Tompkins, Centre Principal at Birmingham Audi telling us more about the benefits of electric driving.
