CUPRA Formentor wins SUV Car of the Year

The CUPRA Formentor has had a flying start to 2022 as it wins SUV Car of the Year at the Company Car & Van Awards.

The winner of the SUV Car of the Year category was determined by a panel of esteemed judges, with Formentor coming out on top within the ultra-competitive segment. The award continues the sporty SUV's success following multiple accolades throughout 2021.

The Formentor was the first car developed exclusively by the CUPRA brand, and embodies everything that CUPRA stands for: sophistication, innovation and a dynamic driving experience.

The CUPRA Formentor is available with seven different powertrains, ranging from the 1.5-litre TSI EVO 150PS, through to the 2.0-litre TSI 4Drive DSG-auto 310PS. It is available as a 1.4-litre e-HYBRID (either 204PS or 245PS) PHEV, offering up to 37 miles (WLTP) of electric-only range.

As standard, the Formentor includes a host of the latest technology and safety features, including a digital cockpit, 12” infotainment screen with smartphone integration and CUPRA Connect, three-zone climate control, keyless entry and start, LED headlights, Predictive and Adaptive Cruise Control and Lane Assist. It was also awarded a five-star safety rating by Euro NCAP.
