The e-tron GT quattro has won the title of World Performance Car at the 2022 World Car Awards – a ceremony which is dubbed the ‘Oscars of the automotive world’. It was also nominated in the World Electric Vehicle of the Year and World Car Design of the Year categories.
More than 100 journalists from around the world thoroughly tested the cars that qualified with the performance jury won over by the many talents of the e-tron GT quattro.
This victory marks the fifth occasion that an Audi has won the World Performance Car award and brings Audi’s total number of wins at the awards to eleven – meaning Audi is the most successful manufacturer in the history of the World Car Awards.
"The fact that the Audi e-tron GT quattro takes the title of "World Performance Car" and thus this award goes to Audi for the fifth time makes us particularly proud. The Audi e-tron GT quattro proves that electric mobility can be sustainable, dynamic, and fascinating all at once. That’s
