And, should you find your car needs a little TLC to pass its MOT, nearly all repairs can be carried out the same day onsite, with our trained MOT testers running through the repairs required beforehand for you to agree.

While you Wait

We don’t just look after your car whilst it’s going through its MOT, we look after you too. At every one of our MOT centres you’ll find a comfy waiting lounge where you can browse the web, check your emails or even do a bit of work using our complimentary Wi-Fi.

Also, if you're having your vehicle serviced at the same time as the MOT test, you can take advantage of our full range of helpful alternative travel arrangement services, from a lift into town, through to provision of a courtesy car or our drop off and pick-up service.

What is an MOT test?

An MOT (Ministry of Transport) test is a legal requirement which requires that every vehicle in the UK, 3 years old or more, must be tested each year to ensure that it complies with the minimum road safety and environmental standards.

What’s covered in an MOT? An MOT test covers a wide range of components on your car and is designed to confirm that at the time of the test your vehicle has passed the minimum level of acceptable road safety and environmental standards (as far as can be reasonably determined, without dismantling the vehicle.

A list of exactly what is included in an MOT test can be found at the getting an MOT page on the UK government website.
