The world debut of the LC convertible prototype is to take place at the Goodwood Festival of Speed, along-side some of the most impressive and limited cars in the world. The LC flagship range is being extended by Lexus, and will soon include an addition that has been adapted to have an open-top.
The LC coupe’s outstanding design, and incredible performance has earned itself the title as one of the most desirable, and globally admired models Lexus has produced. It was hinted at the North American International Audio Show, at the start of the year, that the newest edition to the range will include a convertible. It has been reported that the aim of the design is the ‘ultimate beauty’, and therefore the car has received large amounts of attention from industry specialists and the public alike and even achieved the EyesOn Design Award.
The new LC convertible’s design is similar to the coupe, and has been described by Lexus as, “long, low, and lean” however it, “projects its own, distinct identity”. It includes large tyres and small overhangs, which collaborate to create an incredible performance when driving the car.
