As a family business, which has been around since 1979, Listers take pride in championing the skills and expertise of their staff, whilst supporting them in their careers with us, no matter their goals and aspirations.
There are always opportunities available for our staff to develop their skills and advance their careers if they wish to.
We have a training academy based in Solihull that is dedicated to developing people to reach their full potential in their chosen field. Alongside our training academy, we also offer external training with a range of different colleges, universities and training providers.
One member of the team who has taken full advantage of the opportunities she was presented with is Hannah, one of our Junior Marketing Managers, who has been with the Group since 2014.
Hannah's Journey
Hannah first joined Listers Group back in 2014 as a Marketing Administrator. In 2016, she was offered the opportunity to develop her career and skills and became a Trainee Marketing Manager, looking after brands represented within the Group.
Toni Dunk, Head of Marketing said, "Since Hannah joined the Marketing Department, she showed a positive attitude and huge enthusiasm to want to learn all there was to know about marketing. Her skill set, knowledge and confidence has grown, and this can be seen in the great work she creates. It has been a pleasure to be able to support her in her on-going career journey at Listers."
In 2019, Listers further supported Hannah in studying for her CIM (Chartered Institute of Marketing) Level 6 Diploma in Professional Marketing, graduating in 2019. Although challenging, Hannah found it rewarding and a great confidence builder.
Hannah is currently a Junior Marketing Manager who thoroughly enjoys her role, she said, "Over the past six years, I have really enjoyed working as part of the Marketing team. The support Listers have offered me in terms of training and development has been really valuable to me."
