World Premiere of the All New Lexus NX

Contact Us

Lexus has built on six years of success with their best-selling model, reinventing the All New Lexus NX. There have been major advances in performance, handling and efficiency, with around 95% of the vehicle’s parts being new.

A new design direction

Lexus has innovatively evolved the All New NX, which expresses a more sophisticated, dynamic, mature and muscular appearance with the aim of creating functional beauty and noticeably more space for rear-seat passengers.

The spindle grille at the front is more upright and more subtly framed. Wider front and rear tracks contribute to a more agile and powerful look. Distinctive new features have been added to the rear, including the Lexus blade lighting spanning the width of the tailgate and the first use of the 'LEXUS' in place of the usual logo, creating a more modern and simpler look.

New Tazuna cockpit design

The All New NX is the first model to feature the new Tazuna cockpit design, which aims to give the driver direct, intuitive control so you can keep your hands on the wheel and eyes on the road. There is a multimedia screen, multi-information display, combimeter and head-up display, which can all be read with minimal eye and head movement. All controls are within easy reach of the driver.

Performance

The All New NX 450h+ is the brand’s first plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV), with a four-cylinder 2.5-litre hybrid engine and a rechargeable 18.1kWh lithium-ion battery – the highest capacity in its class. An extra motor at the rear enables all-wheel drive.

The plug-in system produces 302bhp and will launch the vehicle from standstill to 62mph in a little more than 6 seconds. CO2 emissions of less than 40g/km and fuel economy better than 94mpg are set to be top of the class. The self-charging hybrid system is incredibly efficient, which is used when the battery is depleted. This makes the All New NX 450h+ up to 20% more efficient than its rivals. The new model uses fourth-generation Lexus hybrid technology and is greater by 22% compared to the current model.

Development of the All New NX’s dynamic performance focuses on the Lexus Driving Signature. In other words, there is an ideal combination of ride comfort with steering, throttle and braking performance, generating confidence and a sense of connection to the vehicle.

Third generation Lexus Safety System+

The All New NX is the first model to feature the third generation of Lexus Safety System+, which comes as standard with a comprehensive package of active safety and driver assistance features and sets a new benchmark for accident risk detection and prevention measures. The improvements mean that the Lexus can detect whether a solid object - such as a motorcycle, tree, or utility pole – enter the car’s path. The Pre-Collision System can recognise and help to avoid 36% more accident scenarios than previously.
